Our mission is to conveniently make available to customers the finest quality gifts from the Sub-Continent ranging from Décor, handicrafts, carpets, clothing designs and accessories and million other gift ideas from flowers and cakes to books, artworks, electronics, appliances and high-end tech gadgets at affordable prices.

In this endeavor we hope to bring to the forefront, the unique people, skills and products that the subcontinent cultures have to offer. Why we chose the word 'Tohfay:

'The word, 'tohfay', means 'gifts' in the Urdu (Pakistani) language. Tohfay.com aptly brings gifts for you and for your loved ones. Gifts are a wonderful thing and the exchange of gifts is a time-honored tradition in all cultures, as a way of showing love and affection. Our gifts are also a way to pamper yourself when you think you deserve it most. We believe the people and skills of the east could be valuable to the world.

Our idea for a premium gift portal serving average Americans and the Pakistani and Indian expatriate community originated in December of 2001. Tohfay.com went live in August of 2002. The ride from a nascent idea to where we are today has been great. We have expanded our product line and made great vendor relationships on our way, all along trying to maintain the highest service quality for our customers.
